We support Mission Mimi
Matt and Amanda Ryan are looking to raise money to help Amanda's God-daughter Mimi . She and her twin brother James were born prematurely at 28 weeks. Unfortunately Mimi had a bleed on her brain whilst in SCBU and as a result, lives with Cerebral Palsy, meaning she can't walk independently and struggles with her fine motor skills. On Friday 9th March Mimi had surgery at St Louis Children's Hospital, Missouri, America. Over time, this should help improve her condition, making life easier for Mimi and the family. However, for the surgery to be a success, Mimi will require physiotherapy for the next two years, estimated at £25,000 per year. Running the Reading Half Marathon is our way of contributing towards Mimi's future. Any support you can offer would be hugely appreciated.
